The greatest destruction of relationships

B.L.A.M.I.N.G. others.. for the choices we made... it's a convenient excuse really... it's one of the bad attitudes among the many, but this alone is enough to kill a relationship built upon love over past years, causing parents and children to be at loggerheads with one another, turning the hearts of lovers which used to burn with passion, into stones.

It leads to a chain of attitudes... the most common is hatred. Hating the ppl around you whom you think is the cause of your unhappiness today. The so call "others-inflicted" miserable life when in fact it's "self-inflicted". Because WE HAVE A CHOICE to decide how we want to respond to the situation. True enough, the ppl around us do affect us, but everyone has their own battles to fight, and WE HAVE A CHOICE to console ourselves with the good things we have in our lives though it might not be up to our expectations or we can continue to sear our conscience with an ungrateful heart. The fact of life is that nobody has everything. There's always someone who is better or worse than us. Never underestimate the power of gratitude, it seems like an insignificant attitude but it has great power to deliver us from the bitterness of soul.

Sadly, when one decides to feed on the hatred, all that's left is a ticking human time-bomb waiting for the perfect chaotic environment to explode. Threatening and disregarding the lives of others, even the lives of their loved ones.

How shallow is human's love for one another... i'm truely convinced that it's performance-based.
